Blackmagic Design - Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter 8x12G SFP

Convertisseur en rack 19" conçu pour intégrer la vidéo IP SMPTE-2110 dans un équipement broadcast 12G-SDI, tout comme le Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter 4x12G PWR. Cette norme (SMPTE ST-2110) développée par la SMPTE, définit le transport et la synchronisation de la vidéo 10 bits, de l'audio et des données auxiliaires sur les réseaux IP de diffusion destinés à remplacer le SDI (Serial Digital Interface).

Dans ce cas, il y a 8 convertisseurs vidéo IP bidirectionnels indépendants de 12G-SDI à SMPTE-2110, avec des modules SFP pour pouvoir utiliser des modules Ethernet à fibre optique de 10Gb pour les connexions longue distance. Chaque canal dispose d'une entrée 12G-SDI, mais aussi d'une entrée 12G-SDI pour le retour du programme transmis sur tous les canaux.

Au total, l'unité dispose de 9 entrées SDI (8 entrées SDI vidéo + entrées PGM principales), 8 sorties SDI vidéo + 1 sortie SDI Main Program Loop, 16 entrées/sorties audio SDI. 8 prises SFP 10 Gb/s supportent jusqu'à 10 G BASE-T par entrée et sortie vidéo IP SMPTE 2110. L'horloge PTP (Precision Time Protocol) pour une synchronisation précise entre les appareils est incluse.

L'ajout de ce convertisseur à un système de diffusion professionnel SMPTE-2110 existant offre le grand avantage de pouvoir convertir à moindre coût tous les équipements vidéo à SMPTE-2110 : il suffit de le connecter aux commutateurs de production en direct, aux enregistreurs sur disque, aux processeurs de streaming, aux caméras, aux téléviseurs et à bien d'autres appareils encore.

Il y a une double alimentation interne 100 - 240 VAC 50/60 Hz pour la redondance.
