Embase  jack 6,35 mm pour circuit imprimé, tous les contacts sont commutés ('normalisés'). La séparation du loquet mécanique et des contacts électriques permet d'obtenir une haute force de rétention en même temps qu'une faible pression d'insertion. Cela réduit également la pression sur les contacts électriques, afin qu'ils puissent être plaqués en or durci.
