Il s'agit d'une caméra vidéo numérique haut de gamme conçue pour le cinéma et la production en direct. Elle est pensée pour les professionnels qui recherchent une solution complète, prête à l’emploi, et pouvant être complétée par des accessoires existants.

Dotée d’un capteur RGBW 36 × 24 mm à grands photosites, elle offre une résolution allant jusqu’à 12 288 × 8040 pixels et une plage dynamique de 16 stops, garantissant une qualité d’image exceptionnelle même dans les conditions d’éclairage les plus difficiles. Contrairement à la Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF 100G Body, cette configuration inclut poignées, support, alimentation, plaque de batterie, monture PL de série et viseur EVF (Electronic ViewFinder). Elle propose également un second écran tactile HDR 5” avec commandes dédiées, des filtres IR ND intégrés et des connecteurs professionnels Lemo et Fischer.

Elle est équipée d’un Blackmagic Media Module 8 To pour l’enregistrement, d’un port Ethernet 100G pour la transmission vidéo en direct SMPTE-2110, et de la connectivité Wi-Fi pour synchronisation rapide sur le Blackmagic Cloud. Elle est compatible avec un large choix d’accessoires optionnels pour encore plus de possibilités.
