Saramonic SmartMic+ is a cardioid condenser microphone with a 3.5 mm 4-pole mini-jack connector optimized to improve audio quality when recording with smartphones and tablets etc.

It connects directly to the headphone jack of your mobile device, obtaining audio quality, sensitivity and intelligibility without compromising portability and size. The polar pattern of the microphone focused towards the audio source is designed to eliminate surrounding noises, especially those coming from behind.
