Il s'agit d'une caméra vidéo numérique haut de gamme conçue pour la production cinématographique, destinée aux professionnels souhaitant une solution complète, prête à l'emploi, extensible avec des accessoires existants.

Dotée d'un capteur RGBW 36 × 24 mm à photosites agrandis, elle offre une résolution allant jusqu'à 12 288 × 8040 pixels et une plage dynamique de 16 stops, garantissant une qualité d'image exceptionnelle même dans les conditions de lumière les plus exigeantes. Contrairement au modèle Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF Body, ce kit comprend une poignée, un support, une alimentation, une plaque batterie, une monture PL et un viseur électronique (EVF) de série. Il inclut également un second écran tactile HDR de 5" doté de commandes dédiées, des filtres IR ND intégrés et des connectiques professionnelles Lemo et Fischer.

La caméra intègre un module média Blackmagic de 8 To pour l'enregistrement, un port Ethernet 10G pour un transfert de fichiers rapide et le Wi-Fi pour la synchronisation avec Blackmagic Cloud. Une vaste gamme d’accessoires optionnels est disponible pour étendre encore ses fonctionnalités.
