La Serie EMC-XLR es una versión especialmente diseñada de la serie XX para proporcionar una mejor pantalla de RF para aplicaciones críticas en presentaciones en vivo y grabación donde hay problemas particulares con la transmisión de radio o teléfonos móviles. El diseño garantiza una conexión de blindaje RF continua desde el cable hasta la carcasa del conector del chasis a través de un condensador circular alrededor del blindaje del cable. Los condensadores circulares actúan como filtros de paso alto con una frecuencia de corte alrededor de 10 MHz.
Una perla de ferrita de supresión EMI con 24 ohmios a 1 MHz entre el pin 1 y la pantalla del cable proporciona un filtro de paso bajo para mejorar el rechazo de RF.
