La serie EMC-XLR es una versión especialmente diseñada de la serie XX para ofrecer un mejor blindaje RF para aplicaciones cruciales en actuaciones en vivo y grabaciones donde hay problemas particulares con la transmisión de radio o teléfonos móviles. El diseño garantiza una conexión continua de blindaje RF desde el cable hasta la carcasa del conector del chasis a través de un condensador circular alrededor de la pantalla del cable. Los condensadores circulares actúan como un filtro de paso alto con una frecuencia de corte alrededor de 10 MHz.
Una perla de ferrita para supresión EMI con 24 ohmios a 1 MHz entre el pin 1 y la pantalla del cable proporciona un filtro de paso bajo para una mejora en el rechazo RF.
