WICASTplay+: multi-zone audio wherever you want!

WICASTplay+ equips you with a genuine multi-zone audio system in your home, in a few simple steps.

All these sound sources are independent and self-contained, without being interlinked in a genuinely useful way that makes a shared system more powerful and more flexible. WICASTplay+ is able to remedy all this.

How are a few dozen euros enough to create a multi-zone system in your home using the speakers you already own? 

In its new more powerful and advanced version, WICASTplay+ is a wireless audio transmitter capable of transforming amplified speakers and home theatre into a multi-room audio system via a WI-FI network and an ordinary proprietary app that's free.

What do you need?

● the WICASTplay+ devices

● a series of audio speakers scattered around the house (living room, bedroom, study, kitchen, outdoor living, etc.)

● any shared Wi-Fi network

It is very simple to operate. Just connect a WICASTPlay+ device in each of the rooms where the speakers are present. This will interface it with them and use the WiiM Player app to control the various devices independently, thus creating a genuine multi-zone listening system.

The WICASTplay+ device is compatible with almost all formats and streaming platforms on the market and, as if that were not enough, it also accepts external physical storage media such as  micro USB cards and standard USB sticks.

This new version – which is actually called “+” – is even more powerful and effective. And once again, this model is full of on-board features and functions.

The connections include a mains power supply, via a 5 V Micro USB socket (consuming only 300mA), a 2 RCA stereo output replacing the minijack in the previous version.

The underside in this new version has a very professional appearance, built with sturdy materials and in the front, in addition to the on and off button there is also a large rotary control to adjust the general volume simply and immediately.  

Thanks to its very small size, it can be placed anywhere, always providing excellent signal reception thanks to a new antenna at the rear. 

WICASTplay+ is equipped with a remote control, has a standard design and settings and is very user friendly.

A free app for Android and iOS at the heart of the system...

WiiM Player is the app to be installed on any mobile phone, tablet or computer that is used to control the zones separately. This means that each zone we are going to create can receive a different signal, with a different volume and a dedicated control.

The advantages?

First of all with WICASTplay+ we can use housings and speakers that we already own, without having to buy new ones.

Also, to have and install a system that is equally powerful and flexible a more complex and expensive system would be needed. This is without considering the fact that in some cases wiring and other material that is not always so simple to install are also required.
