The OpticalCON connector is one of the many patents of the prestigious Neutrik company and can be considered the 'digital' version of the equally famous PowerCON, both used in professional applications. OpticalCON boasts the same ruggedness and reliability as powerCON but carries fibre optic signals. The female connector is well suited for mounting in rack panels, breakout panels and wired optical panels, allowing you to build a tidy, functional and very reliable system. The male connector is often fitted with a protective cap to protect the fibre termination and prevent failures.
