The system can be quickly integrated into existing premises with very little installation effort and is especially designed for small to medium-sized rooms. The system is operated via the included remote control, which makes controlling and adjusting the camera simple and intuitive. The onboard menu allows detailed settings of the recording quality as well as memory space for over 255 different preset options.

The included microphone can pick up sounds and spoken content within a 3m radius, and the speaker allows a playback volume of up to 80 dB. This allows all participants in a conference to remain relaxed in their seats without having to turn to the microphone when speaking.

 FULL HD CONFERENCE CAMERA  | The camera of the VKS2040 ensures excellent images and smooth video recording with a resolution up to FULL HD (1920 x 1080 @ 30fps). The 72° field of view (HOV) allows 6-8 participants to be fully captured simultaneously. In addition, the camera can be motorised to rotate -170° / +173° and tilt -30° / + 90°. At the same time, the camera can be aimed at a point at any time and this can be displayed sharply thanks to the autofocus. The 10x zoom shows the smallest details in clearly visible quality, so that even objects or people at the end of the room, e.g. a flipchart, are clearly visible despite the use of zoom. 

The 1 /2.8" Exmor CMOS image sensor and 2.1MP enables sharp, low-noise images in Full HD quality at 30p with accurate sensitivity even in low ambient light.

The VKS2040 camera from celexon offers extensive connectivity options. With the included USB 2.0 A-A cable, the camera can be connected directly to a PC or optionally integrated into a network with an RS232 data cable (DIN8M) (RS232 cable not included in the box).

The conference camera offers a variety of functions that optimise video calling and make it more convenient. One of these is the white balance (AWB): The default settings of the celexon VKS2040 camera include an automatic white balance, which ensures that the camera independently adjusts to the lighting conditions in the room and always records all participants and objects in the same brightness and quality. If the lighting conditions in the room change frequently, even this is no problem for the camera. The image is automatically realigned so that the conference can continue without interruption.

ONBOARD MENU  | The extensive and detailed adjustment possibilities of PTZ cameras (P = Pan | T = Tilt | Z = Zoom) are one of the reasons why these camera systems are so popular for video conferences. The VKS2040 camera from celexon comes with an extensive onboard menu that allows a wide range of settings to be made individually without the need for additional software. This makes it possible, for example, to set the mode of the autofocus and the reaction time of the focusing. Once you have made the desired settings, you can save them on the remote control to any key combination. Whenever the camera is switched on, you only have to press the key combination and the camera will readjust itself. This gives you a fast and optimised start for upcoming video conferences without having to make the same settings every time.

LOUDSPEAKER AND MICROPHONE MODULE  | The VKS2040 video conferencing system is equipped with a microphone module that picks up sounds and spoken content within a 3m radius. The module can be plugged into a free USB port on the PC and used immediately as a microphone and loudspeaker.

Integrated features such as acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control, noise reduction or anti-feedback enhance every conference and transmit your spoken word in the best and most consistent quality.

The small and compact design saves space on the table, yet creates a playback volume of up to 80 db.

In addition, there is a 3.5 mm headphone connection on the module itself next to the mini USB. The volume can be adjusted either on the PC or by pressing a button on the module. There are also two mute buttons that light up as soon as they are active. This makes it immediately obvious when the module is recording audio and when it is not.

The loudspeaker and microphone module can easily be used in a conference with up to 8 participants.

COMPATIBILITY  | The VKS2040 video conferencing system allows a plug and play USB connection, which makes it even faster and easier to get your content onto the presentation screen. The camera is recognised by the PC like a classic webcam, just as the module is recognised as a loudspeaker and microphone (in most cases, necessary drivers are downloaded or pre-installed upon connection). This means that the system can be quickly and easily combined and used with common video conference providers such as Google Teams or Zoom.

START UP STRAIGHT AWAY  | With the box of the VKS2040 video conferencing system, the system can be put into operation immediately without having to purchase additional cables or software. For the FULL HD camera, a 15 m USB A-A cable is included in the box, which is long enough to position the camera in the room. For the loudspeaker and microphone module, a micro-USB cable with a length of 1m is included, as well as a remote control (without batteries).

The system does not necessarily have to be used in combination. It is always possible to operate the camera and the microphone and loudspeaker module separately from each other.
