Sony's unique Bright View processing technology delivers high-impact images that don't require you to sacrifice colors. The improved version of Reality Creation ensures sharp images, diagrams and text, even in bright conditions. Intelligent ambient settings adapt the projected images to the environment for a better viewing experience. There is also an ambient light sensor to measure the brightness of the room.

Sharp, high-impact images

The use of 4K photos and videos is increasingly common in presentations. Despite being a WUXGA projector, the VPL-FHZ80 offers 4K 60P input to display images very close to true 4K resolution. The projector 4K 60P input also makes it easier to use the VPL-FHZ80 in multiscreen configurations with other devices, such as secondary flat screens; just output the same 4K signal to all displays, no conversion needed.

While other projectors may fade over time, the VPL-FHZ80 is designed to maintain consistent image brightness. The unique Intelligent Settings feature automatically monitors actual usage, optimizing settings to keep images consistently bright. The sealed laser source and automatic filter cleaning system prevent dust accumulation, ensuring efficient cooling without compromising image brightness.

Smart design

Intelligent settings simplify installation and maximize performance based on usage, image detail, color vibrancy and fidelity, brightness, cooling level and output noise. The meeting / classroom function controls the laser output to keep the brightness as high as possible during actual usage time.

Convenient filter cleaning system

Focus on exceptional image quality, rather than time-consuming maintenance. The automatic filter cleaning system removes dust every 100 hours, ensuring an unobstructed incoming air flow for optimal cooling.

Forget the dust

The laser light source is sealed to prevent dust accumulation and eliminate brightness reduction issues. The dedicated cooling duct structure for the projector's 3LCD panels is covered by an air filter to prevent dust from entering.

Data cloning

Settings from one projector can be copied to a second one and subsequent projectors using a USB memory stick. This greatly simplifies the installation and configuration of multiple apparatus.

Automatic input selection

The automatic input selection function automatically selects an active signal input, so it is not necessary to change the same one every time a device is connected to the projector.

Auto power-on

Connect the VPL-FHZ80 to a turned-on computer and the projector wakes up automatically, without having to use the power button.
