Audiophony - CARBON18ASub

The Hitmusic CARBON18ASub active subwoofer is designed to deliver high-quality audio performance.

Equipped with a Class-D amplifier with a RMS power of 1000 W at 8 ohm, it has a frequency response that extends from 30 Hz to 110 Hz, ensuring faithful and deep reproduction of low frequencies. The 18" woofer, with a 4" voice coil and a 95.6 Oz magnet, is capable of handling 800 W AES and 1600 W in program. The maximum sound pressure is 135 dB at 1 meter distance.

The subwoofer has two line inputs on COMBO XLR / jack connectors and two line outputs on XLR. Settings include input volume control and a DSP with multiple settings (Position, Mode, Equalizer,
LED, Reset, Info). It is equipped with protections against short circuits, overheating and overload.

The cabinet is constructed from 15 mm reinforced plywood, with an integral metal grille for protection. The design includes two side handles, a 36mm base for pipe mounting and four rubber feet on the bottom.
