Product Details
Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P is the first Ethernet switch designed specifically for the television and film industry, with very high performance and extremely low latency times. All Ethernet ports are positioned on the back of the device, allowing you to connect cables more neatly and securely and hide them discreetly. This is particularly useful for television broadcast environments, where cable management is essential.
It has 16 high-speed 10G Ethernet ports using standard RJ-45 connectors and 2 ultra-fast 100G Ethernet QSFP sockets for fiber optic modules.
For extreme speeds, this switch also includes two independent 100G Ethernet connections that allow you to loop multiple Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P switches as a 100G Ethernet backbone using copper cables or fiber optic QSFP modules to place switches far apart from each other. For large ISO recording and live replay systems, a Blackmagic Cloud Store Max can connect directly to the 100G Ethernet connection, enabling many simultaneous Ultra HD recording streams.
With the Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P, you can build compact 2110 IP systems for portable workstations or small OB vans, because the 2110 multicast settings are configured with a simple matrix panel, without the need for IT technicians and complex multicast settings. The monitoring output can also display the names of connected IP 2110 devices.
With its search knob, fast direct-select buttons, and labeled LCD display, the front panel looks similar to Blackmagic Videohub matrix switcher. Using the menus on the LCD display you can change the settings of the Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P. There is also a graph for each port that indicates real-time data speed as a function of port capacity. Data rate graphs are particularly useful when saving multiple recordings to an archive, as any bandwidth or data stall issues quickly become apparent.
