The Mistral 3 PRC‑W is a passive installation speaker designed for indoor and outdoor applications thanks to its IP66 rating, which guarantees protection against water and dust. The two-way configuration with a 0.5" dome tweeter and a 3" polypropylene cone woofer, in a coaxial configuration, combined with a rear passive radiator, ensures an extended response and excellent vocal intelligibility in public spaces, commercial environments, and outdoor areas.

Compared to competing products based on a more basic design, the Mistral 3 PRC‑W integrates a high-performance tweeter that allows for more accurate and crystal-clear high-frequency reproduction, making the speaker suitable for musical content as well as for voice announcements. The rear passive radiator is designed to fit flush with the wall on which the speaker is installed, improving low-frequency output and offering a more pleasant listening experience even in medium- to large-sized indoor environments. In indoor installations, when multiple speakers are used, the low-frequency output is cumulated, making the Mistral 3 PRC‑W particularly effective even without a subwoofer, a feature that clearly distinguishes it from other compact speakers in the same category.

The speaker can operate either at 100 V with selectable power levels from 1.25 to 10 W, or in low impedance mode at 8 ohms, offering flexibility for integration with traditional amplifiers or constant voltage distribution lines. The rear selector allows for quick power or impedance adjustments based on the type of system.
