Product Details
The PD3-2K is a high-performance dual-streaming AVoIP processor designed for the distribution and control of audio/video content over IP networks in professional environments. It converts any AV source to IP protocol, operating in three distinct modes: encoder, decoder, and KVM, over 1 Gbps copper (CAT) and fiber optic networks, thanks to its integrated dual interface. It represents an all-in-one solution that simplifies signal management and reduces infrastructure complexity.
The device also acts as a control system for local equipment, supporting RS232, RS485, IR, I/O, RELAY, and USB pass-through protocols, allowing direct interaction with external devices. The integrated KVM function allows remote control of PCs and servers, even those distributed across multiple nodes, with support for mouse roaming and multi-user management.
The PD3-2K can simultaneously transmit two compressed video streams: a high-quality, low-latency primary stream, processed using the proprietary InstSight algorithm, and a low-bandwidth secondary stream, processed using H.264/H.265, for standard-quality content. InstSight technology ensures visually lossless transmission with an end-to-end latency of just 2 ms, making it ideal for critical applications.
It can be powered via PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) and features redundant 12V DC power options, ensuring operational continuity even in the event of a failure. The system is designed for decentralized deployment, without the need for a central management server: any node can act as a control unit, with automatic backup in the event of a malfunction.
Breaking the boundaries of traditional centralized deployment, the PD3-2K is suitable for distributed scenarios spanning multiple floors, areas, and networks. It offers features such as long-distance digital audio/video transmission, signal processing and switching, KVM operator management, screen control, and intelligent centralized supervision. Integrated with distributed management and AVoIP KVM collaboration systems, it represents a robust solution for video monitoring, command control, and multimedia presentations.
