Product Details

The Q8 presentation switcher offers incredible real-time 4K video processing power with inputs and outputs ready to support native 8K resolution. Completely modular, it has 6 input slots and 4 output slots. In these you can insert 4 x 12G-SDI + 4 x HDMI 2.0 + 4 x DP1.2 input cards and 4 x 12G-SDI + 4 x HDMI2.0 + 2 x 40G QSFP+ optical ports for a total of 48 x 4K inputs and 16 x 4K outputs.
New IN/OUT modules will be available in the future, including 8K resolution ones! This means no longer having any problems managing large quantities of video signals.

Like the P10 and P20, the Q8 has two modes of operation: switcher or splicer. In switcher mode it can support 32 x 4K layers, while in splicer mode up to 64 x 4K layers. With the Link function, it is possible to share all input and output signals.

Thanks to its VPU function, the Q8 gives you the flexibility to organize the outputs as you wish and you will never have difficulty allocating output card resources.
The presence of the Dante interface allows it to also manage 64 x 64 audio channels, so combined with a console such as the U5 or U5 Pro of the same brand it becomes the ideal switcher for managing large live events with video, audio and lights.
Control of the switcher is also possible thanks to an LCD touch display located in the center of the front panel.
