Product Details

X8 is the new, scalable and extensible, 4K / 8K professional video splicing processor for video walls. It offers an image quality and a range of colors typical of 8K resolution, thanks to the third generation RGBlink high-performance video scaling technology and 12-bit 8K End-to-End processing. The most outstanding feature is its fully modular design; in fact, thanks to the SmartSlot system, it can manage up to 24 4K @ 60 fps inputs and up to 12 outputs, always 4K @ 60 fps. Each port can reach a maximum resolution of 8K and each module up to 4K quad link and up to 8 4K layers: take full advantage of a huge number of full 4K resolution layes (up to 48 for each X8)! With HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.2 / 1.4, 12 SDI inputs, it is HDR 10 compliant and HLG, HDCP. Any input can be resized, positioned, routed, transcoded to any output or assembled as layers between outputs. Seamless switching between presets with multi-layers. X8 supports 8, 10, or 12-bit grayscale on both 8K inputs and outputs. For the first time in an X series processor, X8 has implemented 15 types of professional 2ME transition effects, effects that are not available in any other video processors belonging to the 8K market. The power system is redundant. Built for intensive switching and routing applications, the X8 ensures reliable and long-term operation.
