Product Details
Premium quality analog / Dante network audio bridge with AES67 support for fixed installation with 4 analog inputs + outputs and GPIO ports. Converts Dante and/or AES67 network audio to 4 high quality balanced analog outputs and 4 high quality balanced analog inputs (MIC / line) to Dante and / or AES67 network audio. This interface is the only one on the market to support the OSC protocol. Thanks to OSC, all its functions can be controlled by apps created by the user running on iPhones, Android phones, tablets and desktop computers!
Designed for those who need to use Dante for signal transport, it allows the two worlds of audio on the GigaBit Ethernet network to communicate with the traditional analog one while maintaining ultra-low latency and guaranteeing very high audio quality.
One of the most outstanding features of this sophisticated audio interface is the integrated DSP audio processing, which includes parametric EQs, compressors, delays, ... on all channels. It is therefore perfect for use in conjunction with speakers with Dante input, where it performs signal processing functions upstream, but also in many other applications.
Through the integrated Web Server you have a very intuitive GUI (Graphical User Interface) for easy configuration and control of the DSP parameters on any network device, therefore without the need to install any dedicated software! Another important aspect to underline is its exceptional reliability, thanks to the use of high quality electronic components such as high-end Burr Brown audio DACs, AKM ADC, Wurth electrolytic capacitors etc.
OSC protocol
One of the Main features: of the Dante Synq interface is the adoption of the open source OSC (Open Sound Control) protocol, which sets it apart from the competition. This protocol, originally designed to establish a network connection between computers and multimedia devices in general, can now be exploited to replace classic MIDI controllers with other devices, including the iPhone and similar devices. In the specific case of Synq DBI-44, through OSC it is possible to create a customized graphic interface for the end user that will allow him to access and modify a few specific parameters. This feature is useful in those installations, for example in hotels, where it is necessary to have access only to certain parameters in order not to create confusion or make mistakes.
The interface is created using the TouchOSC software; it can also be a simple control panel with two faders, one to adjust for example the volume of the audio system on the terrace and the other inside a hotel, to which you can add two muting buttons and two for a specific equalization. Once the connection is configured, TouchOSC will send messages on the network with parameters to all recipients, without knowing their IP addresses! the only known thing is the DNS of these devices, obtained thanks to the SYNQ Network Discovery Tool which makes it extremely easy to find them on a local network and open them on any desktop computer.
