XLR B Series

The Ribalto catalogue includes the B Series XLR connectors, which are identical to those of the A Series with the exception of an additional metal mounting flange with continuous circumferential ground contact with the chassis, for optimum EMC practice. They are available as female and male 3-pin connectors, including a special version with 8 ground (-E) contacts for improved conductivity of the coupling of the housing to ground.

Termination:
V = vertical PCB mounting, straight pins
H = horizontal PCB mounting, angled pins
HL = left side PCB mounting
HR = right side PCB mounting

Locking mechanism:
-0 = no latch, retention spring
No suffix = latch lock

Grounding options:
Male connector
-0 = ground contact connected to housing ground, but not to front panel and Pin 1
-1 = coupled connector housing to pin1 and front panel
without suffix = ground contact separated from coupled connector housing and front panel
Female connector
-1 = coupled connector housing to pin1 and front panel
-2 = ground contact separate from coupled connector housing and front panel
without suffix = without ground/housing contact
