Product Details
Blackmagic Cloud Store Max 24TB is a high-performance network storage designed for the film and television industry, which integrates Blackmagic Cloud synchronization and supports DaVinci Resolve proxy files. Its lightning-fast core flash memory allows a multitude of users to operate simultaneously. Thanks to the sync with the Blackmagic Cloud site, with Dropbox and Google Drive, you can use the Blackmagic Cloud Store Max 24TB to share files all over the world, a very useful feature if you work with large data collections or with heavy digital cinema files and videos. Using the internet to synchronize files on a local storage eliminates delays and latency at the root because each user will have access to a local copy on their own network.
Designed to handle large film and TV files that require simultaneous work by editors, colorists, sound engineers and VFX artists, it also handles huge Blackmagic 12K RAW files for digital cinema with zero latency, without having to save themselves on your computer. You can even create a broadcast playback system by connecting several HyperDeck recorders and DaVinci Resolve 19.
Blackmagic Cloud Store Max 24TB is 1U rack wide and features a single ultra-fast 100G Ethernet connection for even greater reach! In fact, simply connect a Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P to the 100G Ethernet port to obtain another 16 x 10G Ethernet connections. This way you can add several HyperDeck Studio ISO recorders, each connected to a switch. The high speed of the 100G connection allows you to work with professional codecs such as ProRes and DNx. The 100G connection can be used with copper and fiber optic cables. There are also 4 x 10G Ethernet ports.
Blackmagic Cloud Store Max 24TB integrates an array of 12 RAID 0 M.2 flash memory cards that work in parallel for greater speed. This massive parallel core memory is the only one that offers the speed necessary to allow large groups of HyperDeck recorders, and dozens of editing stations, to work simultaneously! Additionally, it offers HDMI and SDI video monitoring output with real-time storage status graphics.
Thanks to 100G and 4 x10G Ethernet connections, the Blackmagic Cloud Store Max 24TB offers amazing speed. File access is zero latency, for sensational response.
You can also install a local cache of files uploaded to the Blackmagic Cloud site or Dropbox and Google Drive! This speeds up your work because you take advantage of the unlimited distribution of files globally thanks to the constant synchronization of the Blackmagic Cloud Store. It's also ideal for backing up files from different locations!
This device offers an added advantage: it is easily repairable by qualified computer engineers since the design is based on a single PCB anchored to M.2 memory cards and power. This way, flash memory cards can be replaced easily. Additionally, Blackmagic Cloud Store uses Blackmagic OS with wear leveling to prevent excessive data writing to each M.2 card. In the future, when larger M.2 cards become available, simply insert them into the Blackmagic Cloud Store Max 24TB for even greater storage capacity.
Finally, one of the advantages of Blackmagic Cloud Store is total control of your private storage system; In fact, it does not require subscription or monthly license costs, and there is no tracking of the data or their use. You won't even have to access a paid cloud-based web service to manage settings because Blackmagic Cloud Store has its own free utility for Mac and Windows, which allows you to customize a wide range of settings, offers the ability to enter login and password of your choice for each user and to enable file downloading via FTP or browser. It also allows you to update network settings and security certificates and set up synchronization with the Blackmagic Cloud site, as well as with Dropbox and Google Drive.
