Blackmagic UpDownCross 100G is an 8 channels standards converter designed for next generation IP broadcast environments. Using native SMPTE-2110 connections over 100G Ethernet, you can simultaneously convert up to eight SD, HD and Ultra HD video streams to any other format, ensuring full compatibility with modern IP infrastructures.

The device features two redundant 100G Ethernet ports for full compliance with the SMPTE 2022-7 standard, ensuring continuous operation even if one network connection fails. Seamless Protection Switching provides redundancy, comparing incoming RTP packets and reconstructing a perfect video stream in real time without interruptions or audio glitches.

The 1U rack mount design with front-to-back cooling is extremely quiet and optimized for rack mounting. Dual redundant power supplies further enhance reliability in mission-critical environments.

The front panel includes an LCD display for at-a-glance monitoring of video inputs and outputs, as well as a speaker and headphone jack. A dedicated NMOS port allows integration into IP control and routing systems, simplifying the management of SMPTE-2110 sources.

With support for all SD, HD, and Ultra HD standards up to 2160p 60, UpDownCross 100G is a versatile solution for multi-format conversion, signal protection, and integration into high-capacity IP broadcast networks.
