Small to medium sized meetings require easy to use equipment easily accessible to all the presenters. The PIP function of iCAST Mini allows meeting content to be displayed over the speaker's image so that the information can be conveyed clearly and correctly to the audience. iCAST Mini is specifically designed for small classrooms: its versatile input video switching and streamlined workflow allow you to easily switch between different views of learning content and device demonstrations.

Without changing the current classroom setting, iCAST Mini will be able to deliver video along with audio to platforms such as ZOOM, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet via the UVC interface with a USB Type-C cable, all without installing drivers or perform any calibration. iCAST Mini allows you to transfer your classroom images and learning materials to various locations so that students on the other end of the network can learn with high efficiency in a quality learning environment.

With this device, you can quickly switch between slideshow and camera video, or overlay a PIP window over program video. You can also switch between program video output and PIP image, thus enhancing the versatility of video switching in the simplest way.
You can capture camera images and save them as several still picture files which are in turn applied to the hotkey icons on the Home screen. You can use these images as icons for all four camera presets so that by simply pressing these preset keys, you can return the camera to the pre-saved position from the current view. To simplify the workflow, graphical icons integrated into the device have been used. Datavideo has in fact pre-stored hundreds of these icons on the device which, compared to the textual ones, are more appropriate and intuitive. Of course, these graphic icons can coexist with image icons. Not only do they streamline your workflow, but they also reduce the number of mistakes you make, making your trades faster and easier every time. Graphic icons can also be applied to user memory preset icons for easier identification of the parameters stored there.

Using an Ethernet cable, Datavideo PTC camera series can be controlled via RS-232/422 or DVIP interface, such as Pan and Tilt settings, image size, brightness, contrast, etc., making sure the cameras always generate high quality images.

Last, let's talk about the audio. For Datavideo, streaming audio is much more important than streaming video to achieve professional production results, especially in a hybrid classroom. As a result, three main audio functions are integrated in iCAST Mini: audio mixing, microphone input format setting and audio-video synchronization.
The audio mixer allows you to synchronize audio across multiple media sources and adjust the sound balance for audio channels in order to achieve the right levels for video recording. With the configurable channel type, you can set the audio channel to stereo or mono for a more balanced MIC input. Finally, it is also possible to synchronize live video and audio.
