Product Details
Datavideo PTR-10 MARK II is a robotic Pan / Tilt head designed to transform any camera, as long as it is small, into a fully remote PTZ. Events such as concerts, plays, church ceremonies and any other situation where subjects are on the move are often not supported by budgets that allow one or more video operators to be paid, especially in small productions. In some of these cases, it can be solved by using PTZ, but for even higher quality results you should use a mirrorless or a videocamera. The PTR-10 MARK II is intended for this type of videocameras, on which you can decide to attach any compatible camera / videocamera / box camera or camcorder, with the lens you prefer, to transform it into a remotely controllable PTZ.
PTR-10 MARK II is made of aluminum alloy for maximum strength and lightness. It bears a maximum weight of 4 kg. It can be fixed to a tripod, or free-standing, mounted on the wall or ceiling, for maximum flexibility in video productions. The camera is fixed to the PTR-10 MARK II via an aluminum plate with a standard ¼” screw. The Pan range of 340° is almost a full rotation, while the Tilt is ±45°. The respective movement speeds are variable between 0.12 – 15° / s for Pan and 0.06 – 10° / s for Tilt.
The features are completed by the presence of a Tally light, support for PoE++ and the D-tap connector for continuous power supply, selectable for different cameras between 7.4 / 8.4 / 10 and 12 V, widely used in industry broadcast. Both the camera and zoom controller are powered by the PTR-10 MARK II, which also supports many signal interfaces for pass-through. Among these, SDI, HDMI, RS-232, RS-422, DVIP, Tally and LANC: this allows to have all the cables on the moving head separated from the base, preventing them from twisting during movement.
