SHOWCAST 100 is a brand new 4-channel 4K all-in-one production studio with 7 main functions. It can switch video, overlay text and graphics, control cameras, live stream, record and mix audio, all from a single unit! It is equipped with a 14” touch screen that allows multiple operations. Virtual buttons on the large touch screen panel make it easy to operate the switcher and configure room presets.
Using SHOWCAST 100 is as easy as using a tablet. You can do professional video productions without the need for a huge learning curve on how to use and operate a switcher. Cut, Mix and Wipe are the three useful and simple transition effects built into the switcher.
Via an easy-to-use 14” touchscreen user interface, transition settings will be instantly accessible after selecting a particular effect. For example, if you've selected Wipe, you can easily adjust the transition speed by dragging a slider with your finger or tapping to select a border color.
PIP is often required in video production. Most of the time, the PIP window size needs to be adjusted for program viewing. SHOWCAST 100 allows you to drag different sliders on the touchscreen user interface with your finger to set the aspect ratio of the PIP window. Split window is usually used for live interviews, company presentations and panel discussions.
The SHOWCAST 100's built-in camera control features allow you to control three PTZ cameras simultaneously. Pre-settings for lens position, real-time pan and tilt, and zoom can be directly saved. Also, you can adjust the white balance, iris and mirror mode of each camera.
The built-in dual live stream encoder lets you record and stream simultaneously.
With the recording capability of SHOWCAST 100, you can easily back up recorded video files for post-production editing without much effort.
The 4-channel audio mixer accepts embedded audio, twoline inputs, one AUX channel and one HDMI audio channel, giving you the ability to mix audio while processing the image.
SHOWCAST 100 offers two ways to overlay subtitles. A subtitle with lumakey is usually used for logos, animated text, etc. Another way is to overlay subtitles using the built-in network stream encoder. In the stream encoder web UI, you can enter the subtitle texts in the text field of the CG page, then the subtitles will be displayed on the video when the stream starts and recorded on the SD card together with the video.
