IRIDAH-FLEX1.9 is a flexible indoor rental LED panel designed for creative applications.
Like the IRIDAH-1.9 model, it uses HOB technology, designed to solve the main problems of rental LEDs: shock, oxidation, humidity, poor color uniformity, and maintenance difficulties. It combines nanometer-level thermally conductive materials and high-temperature molding to create a seamless, protective, and opaque surface over the LEDs.
The main advantages of this technology are:
- More accurate color reproduction thanks to improved thermal uniformity and a matte layer that increases contrast
- Ink uniformity (N.B. this refers to the black ink applied to the circuit board and the surface of the LED module to uniform the color of the surface when the display is off and increase contrast)
- Five protections: waterproof, dustproof, anti-static, anti-humidity, anti-oxidation
- Impact resistance thanks to a harder surface
- Greater stability and durability compared to traditional SMD modules
- Simplified maintenance: unlike COB / GOB technology, individual LEDs can be repaired by the customer with a dedicated kit
The 500 x 500 mm cabinet uses a high-strength, lightweight, and compact die-cast aluminum frame, designed for intensive rental use.
The curvature system integrates a new 10-step angle adjustment mechanism for each cabinet, allowing for rapid and repeatable curvature of up to ±45° (concave and convex). This enables extremely creative configurations, including cylinders with a minimum diameter of 1.27 m using just eight cabinets and the creation of a perfect S-shape with a single cabinet.
IRIDAH-FLEX1.9 is also compatible with other EGO Display LED panel series, enabling mixed splicing with standard (i.e., non-flexible) cabinets to expand the surface area or integrate curved portions into existing linear displays.
The structure is optimized for rental, with suspended and stacked mounting configurations, and with electrical management sized for continuous use.
