Le Maitre - SALAMANDER

Salamander is Le Maitre's brand new fire machine that produces spectacular columns of flames or bursts in rapid sequences. Thanks to the small size (204mm x 170mm x 433mm, and 8kg) Salamander allows you to easily couple together the single units in a configuration of up to 4 pieces to produce colored or natural flames that varies in height from 4 to 6 m, with spectacular visual effects, of great impact. No more bulky external propane tanks, drag pipes and multiple valves! Today with Salamander an optimal configuration is quickly, easily and safely realized at a fraction of the cost of the old systems. In addition, cartridge-based fuels offer an ideal solution for anyone who wants to create a "propane" style flame without the unpleasant collateral headaches to the audience. A single fuel tank is capable of providing up to 30 seconds of continuous flame or up to 50 short bursts, in the colors currently available: natural, red and green. Regarding safety Salamander is really advanced, in fact it has eliminated the internal valves and accumulators, minimizing the possibility that the system goes into blockage or presents dangerous fuel leaks. This is what allows Salamander to use fuels supplied in practical colored canisters in total safety without the risks normally associated with them. Moreover, the safe use of ethanol/methanol-based containers makes Salamander ideal for locations and environments where propane/butane is prohibited. The Salamander is controlled by 2 DMX channels which can be controlled individually. It has built-in safety features including a tilt sensor and igniter monitoring.
