Le Maitre - SALAMANDER QUAD PRO

Following the huge success of the Salamander, Le Maitre has launched a completely revamped system, larger and more versatile than its predecessor: the Salamander Quad Pro. This is the brand's latest flame machine, designed to further expand Le Maitre's offering in this sector.

The Salamander Quad Pro features a system of four flame fluid tanks, each of which can be activated independently. The ability to load multiple colors allows for spectacular visual effects that are difficult to achieve with a single machine. Sequential firing of the tanks also extends the duration of the effect, with a maximum of 120 total shots, while each flame can reach a height of approximately 3.5 – 4.5 m. Alternatively, all four tanks can be activated simultaneously to generate a single, much wider and taller flame, up to 6 – 8.5 m, ideal for stadiums, large events, and award ceremonies.

Compared to the original Salamander configuration, this new unit retains a number of key features, including:

• A unique ignition system, free of internal valves and accumulators, which minimizes the risk of blockages or leaks

• The use of liquid cartridges that allow for a propane-style flame with a quick, simple, and safe setup, at a much lower cost

• The elimination of external propane tanks, cumbersome piping, and multiple valves

Various flame colors are available: natural, red, and green, with butane/propane fuels (natural canisters). For environments where propane is not permitted, ethanol/methanol cartridges (red and green canisters) are available, offering a safe and effective alternative.

The Salamander Quad Pro also integrates numerous safety features, including a tilt sensor and continuous igniter monitoring. DMX control is via 5 channels (ignitor + 4 fire), with the ability to set the Ignitor address independently of the fire channels. Despite housing four tanks, the unit maintains surprisingly compact dimensions (26 × 33 × 43.3 cm), making it convenient to transport and easy to place in any setup.
