SimplTrack3 is the new third-generation PTZOptics PTZ camera featuring auto-tracking and auto-framing: the perfect combination of advanced technology, intuitive operation, and high-level security.

This PTZ makes producing conferences or lectures easier than ever, requiring neither specific technical skills nor an operator. It offers smooth automatic tracking up to approximately 17 m away with perfect focus, up to 20× optical zoom in 1080p @ 60 fps, ±170° Pan, and a field of view of up to 59.5°.

Auto-tracking and auto-framing

SimplTrack3's advanced auto-tracking and auto-framing features can easily switch between tracking a lecturer and framing groups of people in the scene, making it an ideal solution for recording a conference or classroom interactions. Smart Auto-Tracking technology intelligently locks onto your subject, ignoring other moving people and adapting to changes.

Of course, both automatic tracking and automatic framing can be deactivated as needed, switching from automated PTZ controls to manual PTZ movements with a simple command. These commands can be sent from the dedicated software, the included IR remote control, or a PTZOptics joystick controller.

Zone management

The tracking zone encompasses the entire area where a subject could move in the frame. It is designed to ensure smooth tracking of the speaker or teacher, covering a wide area and offering flexibility of movement.

The blocking zone is strategically placed in areas that could cause unwanted tracking, such as near doors, whiteboards, or TV screens. This zone is essential to prevent the camera from automatically tracking irrelevant movements or passing people, ensuring focus remains on the main subject. SimplTrack3 contains 8 zones.

Preset Zone is an innovative feature that automatically triggers a preset when the camera enters a selected area. This could include switching to a separate camera, activating a stage light, or any other preset useful for the presentation. SimplTrack3 contains 8 preset zones.

Customization

With SimplTrack3, you can automate camera controls and quickly adapt to any workflow. Dedicated tracking sensitivity options allow for complete customization of zoom levels, Pan/Tilt speeds, and automatic operations to suit the instructor's presentation style. Manual mode can be enabled, allowing for use via IR remote control, PTZOptics joystick controller, or the control app.

SimplTrack3 accommodates various user preferences with its automatic tracking functionality, allowing for straightforward and simple one-button setup. For users seeking greater control, SimplTrack3 also offers the option of more complex setups, allowing for detailed adjustments and fine-tuning of the tracking process.

Dual sensor

The dual sensor system offers flexibility and superior performance in a variety of environments, from classrooms to auditoriums. Designed with two sensors, the camera can simultaneously monitor the entire room while tracking and highlighting a single subject, providing viewers with a complete view of the scene. The 20× optical zoom lens ensures clarity in every shot, even from afar. SimplTrack3 offers multiple video outputs: 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB, IP, and NDI HX2, as well as an additional output from the wide-angle reference camera. It also supports PoE for simplified installation.
