SFP Modules

Ribalto offers a wide range of SFP Modules.

SFP (small form-factor pluggable), is a compact and hot-swappable transceiver device capable of supporting, among others, communication standards such as 100/1000Mbps Ethernet, Fiber Channel and SONET.

SFP modules support speeds up to 4.25Gbps and are commonly used in applications such as telecommunications and data communications. The small form-factor pluggable specification is based on IEEE802.3 and SFF-8472.

SFP video modules are classified according to several aspects. Divided by operating range, there are 3G-SDI SFP, 6G-SDI SFP, 12G-SDI SFP. By transceiver type, there are dual transmitters, dual receivers, single transmitter, single receiver. For operability related to their wavelength, there are wavelengths of 850nm, 1310nm, 1490nm, 1550nm and CWDM. For transmission distance we find SFP capable of carrying the signal up to 300m, 2km, 10km, 20km, 40km and 80km.
