This projector series utilises Sony's powerful and unique high resolution Reality Creation technology, which relies on a powerful pattern-matching database to optimise lower resolution images and enhance clarity without adding digital noise. Configuring the settings is quick and easy thanks to the use of presets to optimise the brightness, cooling, colors, and other projector settings. In a matter of moments, users can obtain exceptional images no matter their surroundings, from meeting rooms to classrooms and from museums to entertainment venues. Multiscreen configurations are also extremely easy to manage. To ensure maximum flexibility in terms of installation, there is an extensive lens shift range and a vast choice of interchangeable lenses. They can therefore be easily installed in any space, including classrooms and rooms with high ceilings. Additionally, the VPLL-Z4107 ultra-short throw lens allows the projectors to be positioned close to the screen, avoiding the hassle of ceiling installation. In addition to its exceptional brightness, the laser light source significantly reduces the projectors' maintenance requirements compared to traditional options; in fact, it guarantees up to 20,000 hours of operation (depending on the use and environment) without any need to replace the lamp, constantly offering uniform images. These projectors make a seamless addition to AV setups that use major control, monitoring and management systems such as Crestron Connected and Extron XTP Systems.* (*Extron and XTP Systems are trademarks of RGB Systems Inc.) The Edge Blending System perfectly combines images from different projectors, making the colors uniform; this feature is ideal for creating the large projections that are often required in corporate and educational settings. The system of optional lenses is carefully designed to adapt to any size of room; it also uses a quick release bayonet mount to make them easy to install and replace. The extensive lens shift range allows for great flexibility in terms of positioning the projector, even in small spaces, ensuring that presenters and audiences are not distracted by the light source and no unwanted shadows are created. The optional VPLL-Z4111 lens offers even more practical and time-saving features, providing the ability to store and recall up to six image size, position and aspect ratio settings. These products are elegant and understated: the slim body is finished with a flat surface that can blend seamlessly into any space when the projector is installed on the ceiling. The projectors can also be controlled using the RS232C protocols associated with other manufacturers thanks to Sony's emulation function. This feature allows users to replace a third-party projector with a Sony projector without reprogramming the AV system.
