Product Details
Ultra-high-end portable broadcast lens designed for 4K television and sports productions.
This lens features a B4 mount for cameras with a 2/3" sensor, offering a 46x zoom that extends the focal length from 13.5 mm to 621 mm, extendable to 1242 mm thanks to the built-in 2x extender. Despite its extreme range, it maintains a maximum aperture of f/2.8 up to 316 mm and f/5.5 at the longest focal length, ensuring brightness and quality even in difficult shooting conditions.
Optically, it uses ED and Super ED elements to reduce chromatic aberrations, a proprietary stabilization system that ensures blur-free images even during sports or live action footage, and an HT-EBC coating that eliminates reflections and flare, improving contrast and black depth. The nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a natural and pleasing bokeh, while the multi-group system maintains sharpness throughout the entire focal range.
Weighing approximately 5.8 kg (12.5 lbs) and with a minimum focusing distance of At 2.8 meters, the UA46x13.5BERD-U1 is designed to be robust and reliable for field productions. The "with trunk" version includes a dedicated carrying case, essential for protecting the lens and facilitating logistics.
