Product Details
The PD3-4K is the enhanced version of the PD3-2K, designed to handle 4K content with greater layering capacity, advanced HDMI 2.0 connectivity, and superior performance for highly visually complex environments. The main differences between the two models are supported video resolution, HDMI connectivity, and processing power.
The PD3-4K is an innovative, high-performance dual-streaming AVoIP processor designed for the distribution and control of audio/video content over IP networks, designed for professional installations. It converts any AV source to IP protocol, operating in three distinct modes: encoder, decoder, and KVM, over 1 Gbps networks, whether copper (CAT) or fiber optic, thanks to its integrated dual interface. It offers an all-in-one solution that simplifies signal management and reduces infrastructure complexity.
It also acts as a control system for local equipment, supporting RS232, RS485, IR, I/O, RELAY, and USB pass-through protocols, allowing direct interaction with external devices. The integrated KVM function allows remote control of PCs and servers, even those distributed across multiple nodes, with support for mouse roaming and multi-user management. The device is equipped with four USB 3.0 Type-A ports for connecting peripherals and one USB Type-B port for direct control of remote PCs.
The PD3-4K can simultaneously transmit two compressed video streams (dual streaming): a primary stream, processed using the proprietary InstSight algorithm, for high quality and low latency (up to 2 ms), and a secondary stream, processed using H.264/H.265 for standard-quality content, with low bandwidth consumption. This configuration allows it to adapt to different operational needs while maintaining visually lossless transmission.
It can be powered via PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) and features redundant 12V DC power options, ensuring operational continuity even in the event of a power failure. The system is designed for decentralized deployment, without the need for a central management server: any node can act as a control unit, with automatic backup in the event of a malfunction.
Overcoming the limitations of traditional centralized deployment, the PD3-4K is suitable for distributed scenarios across multiple floors, areas, and networks. It offers features such as long-distance digital audio/video transmission, signal processing and switching, KVM operator management, screen control, and intelligent centralized supervision. Combined with AVoIP distributed management and collaboration systems, the PD3-4K is an optimal solution for high-end video monitoring, command control, and multimedia presentations.
